Review of Africamps at Gowan Valley Our family's escape to Africamps at Gowan Valley was a rejuvenating experience, perfectly designed for those seeking a family-friendly glamping adventure. We booked two spacious tents for two nights and found them a delightful blend of rustic charm and comfort. The cozy beds, equipped with heated blankets, were a blessing against the cold weather. The surrounding nature offered endless opportunities for exploration. My children thoroughly enjoyed the woodfired hot tubs, which were a lovely way to unwind after a day spent hiking the 4km trail through lush indigenous forests. We even had fun spotting various 'FunGuys' on our way. The scenic walk led us to a majestic 500-year-old Yellowwood tree that was quite the sight! Elaine at reception made us feel exceptionally welcome, and we appreciated the hospitality from Cynthia and Deanne. For family meals, I highly recommend pre-ordering the cook-your-own meal baskets-such an innovative concept that simplifies dinner. Our visit to Piggly Wiggly nearby added to the trip, offering plenty of food, activities, and gifts for the whole family. Africamps provided a memorable getaway, and we are already looking forward to returning.
